Kevin Jones
Kevin started in the industry as an Electrical and Refrigeration engineer 45 years ago working for local companies. However, in 1984 Kevin decided he wanted a new challenge and decided to go self-employed starting up KJ Refrigeration and has never looked back since.
Janet Jones
Janet’s background has always been in Banking and spent many years in this industry before joining KJR in 1991. In 1994 Janet was made a partner in the business and now 25 years on manages a team of people in the admin and accounts departments.

KJ Refrigeration has been serving the South West since 1984. The company was founded by Kevin Jones who started with just a van, covering the local area of North Devon based in Barnstaple.
In 1987 KJ Refrigeration opened it’s first showroom and offices in Barnstaple and since then the company has grown exponentially over the 35 years it’s been operating.
The company was solely Refrigeration and Air Conditioning at this stage, and this remains the passion for Kevin who will always be an engineer at heart.
In 1991 the company relocated to Whiddon Valley, Barnstaple where it’s main showroom, offices and workshops remains to this day.

In 1994 Janet joined as a Partner in the company and heads up the accounts and admin department. Janet also oversees the Catering aspects of the business and has proved to be a valuable asset since joining the business.
In 2004 KJ Refrigeration expanded to incorporate a Catering Department taking on a sales team and engineers to fulfill this. This department covers sales everything from sundries to commercial equipment.
KJ Refrigeration prides itself on having long term employees with several key members of the team having worked for them for over 20 years. This means we can provide reliability and consistency in our engineers who get to know our customers and build long standing rapport. This is evident in our testimonials which we are extremely proud of.
